Google Meet - Devices

  • Google Meet can be used on computers, phones, or tablets.
  • For mobile devices Google Meet is available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
  • For Desktop/Laptops most browsers are supported but the Google Chrome browser works best.
  • In order to use the app on an Iphone you must have a Google/gmail account.

Google Meet - Mobile Devices

  • If Google Meet is not already on the device then either go to the Google Play Store for Android devices or the Apple App Store for Apple ios devices and download/install.
  • Once Downloaded open the app.
  • Click Meeting Code, type in the meeting code provided by a CAREY representative.
  • Click Ask to Join and you will be entered into the meeting once your provider has granted access.

  • Google Meet can be used on most browsers. Google Chrome however, works best.
  • Type in the URL given to you by a CAREY representative. 
  • Example of what the URL will look like:  https://meet.google.com/abc-defg-hij
  • A webcam ( built-in or external) is necessary.
  • Type in your name
  • Click Ask to join.
  • You will be entered into the meeting once your provider has granted access.
